Scottish Strategic Co-ordinating Groups

Background

'A Strategic Co-ordinating Group must be established in each police force area. All Category 1 and 2 responders and agencies, including the Scottish Government, military and key local interests, should be members of the SCG. The SCG is not a statutory body. It cannot direct its members. It is the place where individual responders duty to co-operate is met.'
